The Icon Payments Framework (IPF) provides institutions with faster and more cost-effective access to instant payments through an advanced and highly flexible payments specific platform which seamlessly integrates with core and back-office banking applications.
A Senior Project Manager is required to join our growing delivery team to work alongside the Delivery Director. The successful candidate must have proven experience of end-to-end management of technical onsite engagements, senior stakeholder management and working closely with an Agile feature-based product delivery teams to integrate products into client sites. Having worked in a product environment would also be an advantage
As we work with senior stakeholders and technicians, on mission critical programs of work, the ability to engage positively on both a management and technical level, report succinctly and accurately are essential. Project dependent, travel will be required across the UK and Europe.
About you:
- Full life-cycle project management experience within a
commercial B2B context.
- Financial Services domain knowledge, preferably in the real time
payments space either within a bank or central infrastructure.
- Experienced in contract review and associated governance.
- Prior experience implementing a product-based solution.
- Willing to travel across the UK and Europe, dependent on project
requirement.
- Highly experienced in Agile (i.e., scrum, Kanban) feature-based
Product delivery and release management, with the ability to guide client
resources in ways of working where needed.
- High level of proficiency in Jira/confluence – ability to
effectively monitor, manage and report on internal and client project teams
progress and velocity
- Experience in agile / waterfall blended approaches often found
at tier 1 financial institutions.
- Project delivery experience using multiple project resources of
in-house colleagues, clients and 3rd party partner resources developing a
collaborative delivery ethic.
- Senior stakeholder management and client engagement with a focus
on exceptional client satisfaction.
- Experience working with disparately located teams (both onshore,
offshore and across time zones) within multi-vendor scenarios.
- Strong Leadership and Project experience using multiple using
resources from in- house, client and 3rd party partner teams, developing a
collaborative delivery ethic
- Whilst not essential, any bi-lingual capabilities, particularly
across European countries would be advantageous
What do our Project Managers do?
- Manage all aspects of the icon project delivery including
planning, resourcing, milestone tracking, risk, issue, financial and commercial
management, reporting and customer satisfaction.
- Provide pragmatic project management guidance to clients and
colleagues.
- Act as interface between Icon technology team, client teams and
third-party vendors.
- Build effective working relationships with both delivery and
business development organisations within Icon with the objective of finding
opportunities to add value to the end client.
